Consulate Report reproduces Department of State tables without editorial changes, so most differences between this site and a reader's expectation come from the tables themselves: the Department describes its monthly issuance reports as preliminary and subject to change, and it revises wait-time estimates monthly.

Disputes about the underlying figures

Issuance counts, refusal rates, wait-time estimates, bulletin dates and Diversity Visa counts are the Department's records. Questions about them go to the Bureau of Consular Affairs through the contact routes on travel.state.gov. Revisions the Department publishes appear here when the affected month or year is refreshed; the annual Report of the Visa Office supersedes the monthly reports for a fiscal year.

Errors introduced by this site

If a figure here does not match the Department file it cites (a mis-parsed table, a post attached to the wrong country, a nationality spelled two ways and split in two, a bulletin cell read from the wrong chart), write to the address on the contact page with the page URL and the Department value. Processing errors are fixed in the code and the site is rebuilt; expect a reply within five working days.

Names of people

The sources contain no applicant-level data and the site publishes none. If a person's name appears anywhere, report the URL and it will be removed at the next build.

Removal requests

Pages describe posts, nationalities, visa classes, months and bulletin categories, all of them official aggregates. Requests to remove a page are answered with reference to this policy; requests that identify a page built around a natural person, which should not exist, are honoured immediately.
