Symbols and descriptions are the Department's, from its Nonimmigrant and Immigrant Visa Symbols lists. Monthly immigrant tables report grouped symbols (F1 covers F11, F12, B11 and B12, for example). Yearly counts are the Department's Report of the Visa Office annual table (FY2024), published only for nonimmigrant classes; monthly counts are the September 2025 report alone.
