U.S. visa issuances in August 2020

U.S. posts issued 94,416 nonimmigrant visas in August 2020, more than the 57,917 of the previous month and -87% against the same month a year earlier (742,031).
6,100 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 38,090 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Monterrey (13,670), Mexico City (7,095) and Tijuana (7,027); 209 posts appear in the month's tables.
BBBCC at 18.9%, H2A at 18.8% and B1/B2 at 17.1% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
