U.S. posts issued 650,100 nonimmigrant visas in December 2017, about the same as the 635,861 of the previous month.

40,819 immigrant visas were issued in the month.

The largest posts were Mexico City (35,860), Shanghai (31,369) and Buenos Aires (30,648); 224 posts appear in the month's tables.

B1/B2 at 60.9%, BBBCC at 11.5% and F1 at 4.6% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
