U.S. visa issuances in April 2018
The reports below contain preliminary data which are subject to change. U.S. posts issued 859,147 nonimmigrant visas in April 2018, about the same as the 819,645 of the previous month and +17% against the same month a year earlier (735,004).
46,399 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 47,598 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Monterrey (42,980), Shanghai (42,158) and Beijing (39,691); 223 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 65.4%, BBBCC at 8.1% and J1 at 6.1% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
