U.S. posts issued 1,054,900 nonimmigrant visas in April 2024, about the same as the 962,731 of the previous month and +24% against the same month a year earlier (850,597).

57,383 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 49,640 a year earlier.

The largest posts were Monterrey (65,118), Sao Paulo (56,082) and Mexico City (51,288); 217 posts appear in the month's tables.

B1/B2 at 59.7%, BBBCC at 13.4% and J1 at 5.2% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
