U.S. visa issuances in March 2024

U.S. posts issued 962,731 nonimmigrant visas in March 2024, about the same as the 861,383 of the previous month and -13% against the same month a year earlier (1,109,079).
53,633 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 64,714 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Monterrey (54,203), Sao Paulo (53,705) and Mexico City (49,547); 217 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 61.3%, BBBCC at 14.2% and H2A at 4.4% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
