U.S. visa issuances in October 2024

U.S. posts issued 977,715 nonimmigrant visas in October 2024, about the same as the 925,157 of the previous month and +10% against the same month a year earlier (885,241).
62,832 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 46,695 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Mexico City (64,568), Monterrey (62,643) and Bogota (52,070); 217 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 61.7%, BBBCC at 20.9% and C1/D at 2.5% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
