U.S. visa issuances in September 2024

U.S. posts issued 925,157 nonimmigrant visas in September 2024, about the same as the 931,915 of the previous month and +9% against the same month a year earlier (849,400).
57,983 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 40,799 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Monterrey (76,067), Mexico City (66,180) and Sao Paulo (50,684); 216 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 61.5%, BBBCC at 19.9% and C1/D at 3% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
