U.S. visa issuances in January 2025

U.S. posts issued 954,595 nonimmigrant visas in January 2025, about the same as the 884,739 of the previous month and +9% against the same month a year earlier (875,162).

54,288 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 50,517 a year earlier.

The largest posts were Monterrey (70,675), Mexico City (56,901) and Guadalajara (45,008); 216 posts appear in the month's tables.

B1/B2 at 60%, BBBCC at 21.5% and C1/D at 2.7% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
