U.S. visa issuances in April 2025

U.S. posts issued 993,250 nonimmigrant visas in April 2025, about the same as the 1,006,227 of the previous month and -6% against the same month a year earlier (1,054,900).
48,193 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 57,383 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Monterrey (70,372), Bogota (62,200) and Mexico City (52,903); 217 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 58.4%, BBBCC at 16.3% and J1 at 5.3% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
