U.S. posts issued 897,937 nonimmigrant visas in May 2025, about the same as the 993,250 of the previous month and -16% against the same month a year earlier (1,070,656).

46,751 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 58,778 a year earlier.

The largest posts were Bogota (54,906), Monterrey (52,528) and Mexico City (43,495); 217 posts appear in the month's tables.

B1/B2 at 56.8%, BBBCC at 14.5% and J1 at 5.5% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
