U.S. visa issuances in August 2025

U.S. posts issued 842,878 nonimmigrant visas in August 2025, about the same as the 823,304 of the previous month and -10% against the same month a year earlier (931,915).
44,122 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 62,077 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Monterrey (57,693), Mexico City (55,299) and Guadalajara (44,336); 215 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 56.7%, BBBCC at 21.9% and F1 at 4.1% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
