U.S. visa issuances in September 2025

U.S. posts issued 823,557 nonimmigrant visas in September 2025, about the same as the 842,878 of the previous month and -11% against the same month a year earlier (925,157).
45,966 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 57,983 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Monterrey (54,802), Bogota (45,770) and Mexico City (44,698); 217 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 63.9%, BBBCC at 18.2% and C1/D at 2.8% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
