U.S. visa issuances in April 2017

U.S. posts issued 735,004 nonimmigrant visas in April 2017, about the same as the 907,166 of the previous month.
47,598 immigrant visas were issued in the month.
The largest posts were Shanghai (40,321), Beijing (37,657) and Monterrey (32,416); 223 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 64.8%, BBBCC at 8% and J1 at 6.9% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
