U.S. visa issuances in August 2017

U.S. posts issued 832,637 nonimmigrant visas in August 2017, about the same as the 884,951 of the previous month.
45,089 immigrant visas were issued in the month.
The largest posts were Beijing (52,228), Mexico City (49,456) and Shanghai (37,914); 224 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 62.9%, BBBCC at 10.9% and F1 at 5.6% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
