U.S. posts issued 652,056 nonimmigrant visas in September 2017, fewer than the 832,637 of the previous month.
35,796 immigrant visas were issued in the month.
The largest posts were Shanghai (37,032), Beijing (34,650) and Mexico City (32,807); 224 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 67.3%, BBBCC at 10.8% and C1/D at 3.9% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
