U.S. posts issued 636,534 nonimmigrant visas in October 2017, about the same as the 652,056 of the previous month.

48,161 immigrant visas were issued in the month.

The largest posts were Mexico City (40,618), Buenos Aires (32,447) and Shanghai (26,534); 224 posts appear in the month's tables.

B1/B2 at 66%, BBBCC at 13% and C1/D at 3.8% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
