U.S. visa issuances in July 2022

U.S. posts issued 656,119 nonimmigrant visas in July 2022, about the same as the 722,962 of the previous month and +85% against the same month a year earlier (355,388).
43,148 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 40,005 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Mexico City (35,628), Monterrey (32,262) and Sao Paulo (26,917); 214 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 45%, F1 at 14.5% and BBBCC at 13.7% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
