U.S. posts issued 754,062 nonimmigrant visas in August 2022, about the same as the 656,119 of the previous month and +126% against the same month a year earlier (333,506).
57,137 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 45,491 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Monterrey (56,019), Mexico City (54,572) and Buenos Aires (27,961); 214 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 49.1%, BBBCC at 19.2% and F1 at 7.4% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
