U.S. visa issuances in September 2022

U.S. posts issued 718,175 nonimmigrant visas in September 2022, about the same as the 754,062 of the previous month and +147% against the same month a year earlier (290,312).
57,186 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 47,454 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Mexico City (56,549), Monterrey (51,529) and Guadalajara (32,208); 216 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 53.2%, BBBCC at 21.6% and C1/D at 4% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
