U.S. visa issuances in April 2022

U.S. posts issued 605,651 nonimmigrant visas in April 2022, about the same as the 678,586 of the previous month and +144% against the same month a year earlier (247,833).
41,862 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 24,841 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Monterrey (60,973), Mexico City (35,395) and Sao Paulo (29,179); 214 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 49.6%, BBBCC at 13.7% and H2A at 7.5% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
