U.S. visa issuances in July 2024

U.S. posts issued 960,883 nonimmigrant visas in July 2024, about the same as the 883,594 of the previous month and +12% against the same month a year earlier (861,186).
62,167 immigrant visas were issued in the month, against 48,139 a year earlier.
The largest posts were Sao Paulo (51,445), Monterrey (50,243) and Mexico City (38,058); 217 posts appear in the month's tables.
B1/B2 at 57.2%, BBBCC at 15.5% and F1 at 8.6% made up the largest shares of the month's nonimmigrant issuances.
